Are you a skilled and reliable Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias looking to join a well-established food manufacturing company? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business based in Stretford, Manchester.

The Role:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring maximum uptime of production machinery through both proactive and reactive maintenance. Working across a three-shift rotating pattern, you'll be part of a close-knit engineering team supporting daily operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs.

*

Fault finding and repair on electrical and mechanical equipment.

*

Working with PLCs, drives, and inverters.

*

Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

*

Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.

About You:

Time-served/apprentice-trained with a recognised engineering qualification (Level 3 or above).

Electrically biased but confident with mechanical tasks.

Previous experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment (ideally food).

Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive attitude.
