Head of Transport - Scotland

About the Role

The position offers real scope for progression into a senior leadership role, with responsibility for managing and expanding a well-established fleet. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, maintaining customer satisfaction, and unlocking further commercial opportunities across the UK.

Current Fleet Overview

Around 80 drivers

Approximately 60 trucks and 70 trailers

UK-wide operations

*

Handling both own-produce distribution and retail transport contracts

Key Requirements

*

Proven experience in transport or logistics management

*

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and complex operations

*

Commercially minded with a focus on efficiency, growth, and customer service

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills

*

CPC qualification or equivalent preferred
