Based in Clacton-on-Sea, this role sits within the Production Test team and plays a critical part in validating and verifying high-performance electronic products used across aerospace, automotive, energy, defence, and commercial electronics sectors worldwide.

Key responsibilities of the Electronic Test Engineer job based in Clacton-on-Sea:

Execute formal test procedures on PCBAs, embedded systems, and finished products, ensuring compliance to specification.
Perform component-level fault finding, analysis, and repair.
Produce detailed fault reports to support continuous product improvement.
Maintain accurate test records in line with ISO 9001 and internal quality procedures.
Develop test programs and operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Provide structured feedback on build quality to the Test Team Leader.

Skills and experience required of the Electronic Test Engineer job based in Clacton-on-Sea:

Strong experience in electronic test methodologies, diagnostic tools, and lab equipment.
Experience in RF and microwave testing.
Knowledge of relevant standards including ISO 9001 and IPC.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Awareness of high-voltage and RF testing requirements (desirable).
