Job Description

Office Manager

Family owned and operated dealership group seeking a full-time office manager to join our team in Houston, Texas.


Key Responsibilities

·        Ensure that the accounting records are accurately maintained at all times

·        Maintain internal control to ensure that all Company policies are followed

·        Hire, develop and supervise dealership accounting office personnel

·        Review all balance sheet accounts on a regular basis and work with the accounting staff to correct any discrepancies

·        Meet with the department managers regularly to go over business matters and develop plans to increase profitability

·        Prepare financial statements and accompanying financial analytics in a timely fashion

·        Communicate with the Corporate office any issues regarding the dealership


Desired Qualifications/Skills

·        Accounting degree or equivalent experience

·        3 years' experience managing an accounting office of an automobile dealership

·        Proficient with Reynolds and Reynolds (or a similar Dealership Management System), Excel and Word

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information

·        Ability to prioritize assignments effectively

·        Excellent time management skills
