We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Client as a Transport Supervisor. 

As a Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of drivers, coordinating shipments, and optimising routes to maximise productivity. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of drivers and transportation staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Plan and coordinate daily transportation activities, including scheduling routes and assigning drivers to shipments.
• Monitor transportation operations to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Optimise route planning to minimize fuel consumption and maximise efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Address any issues or concerns related to transportation operations promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimise transportation processes.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to transportation staff.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in transportation or logistics, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in transportation management software and tools.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
