Boutique West-End organisation is looking for an hands on Office/Event Manager who can look after the office and manage the events schedule
Circa 9 months - 1 year FTC.
The culture of the company is fast paced, collaborative and friendly - the Office/Events Manager will look after anything pertaining to the office and Events as well line managing a Team Assistant. Given the current climate the role will be initially remote based with the flexibility to go into the office on a weekly basis to check all is well. Although the focus of the role is predominately Office and Event Management (virtual events at the moment) there will be an element of EA support for the Investor relations team. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate their experience as both an Office Manager and EA within a boutique finance environment.
October start. £50k-60k
*Manage all vendor relationships such as external IT, telecoms including reviewing
terms and invoices
*Act as first point of contact for landlord and health and safety auditors
*Prepare corporate services budget
*Lead and direct maintenance contractors
*Keep up to date and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations especially
relating to COVID
*Line manage 1 Team Assistant
* Event Planning: Plan and organise various events, both internal partner events and
external client events. Managing venue relationships, service providers and invite
lists, organise food/entertainment and presentation related IT, and other program
elements. Given the current climate there will be some virtual events until live
events are permitted.
*Diary and travel management for the Head of Investor Relations and Team
*Coordinating zoom and conference calls for the Head of Investor Relations and Head
The skills you need to bring:
*Office/facilities management experience essential, ideally from a boutique sized
financial services or corporate firm
* Event management experience
*EA experience ideally from boutique sized financial services or corporate firm
*Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
*Advanced MS Office
*Ability to remain calm under pressure
*Flexible and resourceful in your approach to work
