Maintenance Supervisor - Chelmsford Competitive Salary + Excellent BenefitsWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of fixed and mobile plant across multiple sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and plant availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on fixed and mobile plant equipment within your scope of competence.
- Conduct planned maintenance and inspections, maintaining accurate records in line with management requirements.
- Monitor and inspect plant equipment in accordance with site regimes.
- Identify and resolve potential issues to maximise plant availability and minimise unplanned downtime.
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping duties as required, ensuring compliance with site standards.
- To be able to operate machines in a safe and proper manner.
- To undertake maintenance works to static plant as required by manufacturer and Heidelberg Materials.
- To maintain and repair static and mobile plant in a safe and efficient manner
- To maintain where required mobile plant in a good order physically with re-fuelling, greasing, cleaning in accordance with the manufacturers and Heidelberg Materials recommendations.
- To complete daily inspection sheets of the conditions of static & mobile plant when required.
- To report problems or defects of static & mobile plant to the Plant Supervisor and Operations Manager
- To complete near miss reports as required by Site Management.
- To operate plant & machinery in an energy efficient manner.

Education/Qualification
- Computer literate
- Good general education required, and large amount of health and safety regulations and Quarry Regulations are required to be understood and carried out.
