Health & Safety Manager

A leading food manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of the H&S function at their Bedford production facility. This is a standalone role offering real responsibility and the chance to intregrate yourself into an organisation, long term.

The Role

You will be the main H&S professional on-site, supporting operational teams and ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation and company policies. Key responsibilities include:

* Managing the Health & Safety function for the Bedford site.

* Conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.

* Providing H&S guidance and training to operational teams.

* Supporting a strong safety culture in a fast-paced production environment.

* Working closely with production departments
