Director of Operations – Care Homes
Salary: £75,000-£85,000 + Bonus Scheme
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Operations to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading and managing the operations of our client’s group of care homes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and the highest standards of care.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Director of Operations or in a similar operations role within the nursing home sector.
- Level 5 Health & Social Care (Leadership and Management) qualification or equivalent qualification.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards within the healthcare industry.
- Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the operational activities of the organisation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all areas of the organisation.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to establish goals, objectives, and policies that align with the organisation's mission and vision.
- Provide leadership and support to operational staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, inclusivity and diversity.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyse data, and identify opportunities for process improvements and resource optimisation.
- Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and achieve shared goals.
- Ensure that all operational activities are conducted in accordance with the highest ethical and professional standards.
