Area Cleaning Contract Manager

We're looking for a highly organised Area Cleaning Contract Manager to oversee a portfolio of cleaning contracts across multiple sites. You'll ensure excellent service delivery, maintain strong client and supplier relationships, and keep everything compliant and running smoothly. This role is a great fit for someone proactive who can support business growth through solid contract management and effective stakeholder engagement.

Location: Field based. Covering Enfield, Croydon, Edge of Essex

Hours: 40 hour work week. Flexibility on hours required.

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience

Area Cleaning Contract Manager Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple cleaning contracts.
Manage and support cleaning supervisors and operatives.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Liaise with clients to maintain strong working relationships.
Plan and manage staff rotas, recruitment, and training.
Monitor budgets, stock levels, and performance targets.
Area Cleaning Contract Manager Skills and Experience

Proven experience in the contract cleaning industry is essential.
Experience managing school cleaning contracts is an advantage but not essential.
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work flexibly and travel between sites (company car provided).
Full UK driving licence required.
Proven experience in contract management
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of liaising confidently with clients
Ability to analyse complex contractual issues swiftly and provide clear recommendations.
A proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
