The pay rate would be up to £22.97 per hour depending on your location and this may be negotiable.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To complete the initial assessment of people wishing to access Adult Social Care , assess as appropriate and forward to the most relevant team or service (both within the council or to external partners/organisations) following a strength based approach.
• To receive and resolve all social care enquiries and complaints, to a satisfactory conclusion, either written, face to face or by telephone.
• Provide professional guidance, advice and support to the team in the absence of the Team Manager.
• To give advice about the range of Council, health and voluntary sector services.

As an ideal candidate, you will be:

• Registered with Social Work England
• Having minimum experience of 2 years in working with Adult Safeguarding and similar client services
• Able to drive and hold a UK driving License
