Mechanical Engineer - Didcot

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established site based in Didcot. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable role within a professional facilities management environment.

Salary: £36,000 per annum
Location: Didcot

Key responsibilities:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems

Working on plant equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and basic HVAC systems

Undertaking plumbing repairs and general mechanical works

Completing plant room checks and ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently

Supporting with fault finding and minor repairs across building services

Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations

Keeping accurate records of maintenance tasks and compliance checks

Requirements:

Previous experience in a mechanical or building services maintenance role

Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance

Experience working within commercial or facilities management environments

Relevant mechanical or plumbing qualifications (desirable)

Must be able to pass a basic DBS check
