Advanced Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced CAD design engineer from a sheet metal, stainless steel and mechanical
handling background, ideally with previous food industry experience.

The successful candidate will work alongside the production manager and managing director to help design purpose-built equipment required by our highly
regarded customers taking their ideas from concept to full design ready for manufacture.

Duties will include (but not be limited to)

• Leading and controlling the design on multiple projects
• Creating cost effective solutions to the creation of current and new products
• Designing complete systems including various sub-assemblies and mechanisms
• Input in development activities
• Validation via reviews, stress analysis, assembly tolerances and testing

Necessary Skills:

· Degree level or equivalent design engineering qualification
· Competent in the use of CAD software (Solidworks) +
· Experienced sheet metal/conveyor/general equipment knowledge
· Experience in testing and experimenting with prototypes
· Excellent communication skills
· Fully competent in using various measuring equipment
· Attention to detail
· Able to meet and exceed targets

Salary

Salary dependant on knowledge, experience & what an individual can bring to the business.
