This is a key role within the school community, ensuring the site is safe, secure, and well-maintained for students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the school each day
• General site and grounds maintenance
• Carrying out basic repairs and DIY tasks
• Ensuring the school environment is safe, clean, and well presented
• Supporting with health and safety checks and routine maintenance
• Responding to maintenance issues as they arise throughout the day

About YouWe're looking for someone with experience in a similar caretaking or maintenance role. This does not need to be within a school - experience in environments such as student accommodation, hotels, facilities management, grounds maintenance, or building maintenance is equally valuable.You will be:

• Practical and confident with basic repairs
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
• Someone who takes pride in keeping a site running smoothly

• Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full-time role on a rotating shift pattern between 6am and 6pm
