We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national insurance broker who are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join their Amersham office. This is a fantastic opportunity to inherit and develop a strong book of business, while providing first-class service to a diverse range of commercial clients.

Role Overview

As a Commercial Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing an established portfolio of commercial clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring their insurance needs are met. You will work closely with the wider broking and client service teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions, while also identifying opportunities to grow and develop your client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on insurance products across multiple sectors.
• Build strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal teams.
• Identify and convert opportunities to grow accounts and cross-sell products.
• Ensure full compliance with FCA and company procedures.
• Maintain high levels of client retention through outstanding service.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Commercial Account Executive / Client Executive within insurance broking.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to develop new opportunities while retaining existing business.
• Cert CII / Dip CII (or working towards) desirable.
• Motivated, proactive, and client-focused approach.
