Position : Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location : South Yorkshire, S. Yorkshire, Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Chesterfield

Hours : DAYS ONLY

Salary : £40,000-£45,000 plus excellent benefits and potential overtime

Sector : Metals manufacturing

The Role

Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on production plant and equipment
Service and repair of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA or DCS systems
Maintain and repair furnaces and heat treatment equipment
Installation and commissioning of new equipment
Fault finding
Maintenance of the CMMS
Ensure Health and Safety requirements are adhered to at all times
Assist with continuous activity programmes
Support and mentor apprentices and more junior members of the teamAbout You

Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with hot metal
Strong electrical bias with solid mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of heat treatment processes and equipment controls.
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

Apprentice trained
Experience with SCADA systems
