Schedule: Mondays (8:30am-3:30pm) & Thursdays (8:30am-1:00pm)

We are seeking an empathetic and steadfast Humanities teacher to join our dedicated alternative learning community in Rotherham.

About the Position:

You will inspire curiosity and confidence in learners who have encountered barriers in traditional education. Our students have experienced permanent exclusion from mainstream schools, and many face Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

Who You Are:

A qualified teacher with experience or a strong desire to teach Humanities in a PRU environment.

Above all, you possess:

Enduring resilience and a calm, patient presence.

A warm, approachable nature and the ability to connect through humour.

A firm conviction that every student deserves respect, joy, and the opportunity to thrive.

Requirements:

Access to a vehicle with appropriate business insurance (required for potential home visits and student support).

Up-to-date professional references and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one promptly).
