Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

Location: East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Northampton

Job Type: Permanent, full-time Monday to Friday

Primary Industry: Construction - New Build Housing / House Building

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent

A 5 star Housing Developer with a reputation for building high quality homes is recruiting a permanent Assistant Site Manager.

Job Duties:

Oversee a traditional housing site in Northampton with the support of an established Site Manager
Assist in managing day-to-day operations on-site
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
Monitor project progress and quality standards
Report to the Site Manager on site activities

Required Qualifications:

SMSTS certification
CSCS card
First Aid certification
Valid Driving Licence
NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on a new build housing site
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
Excellent communication and team management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Working Conditions:

Work on-site in varying weather conditions
Regular travel to different construction sites
May involve working evenings and weekends depending on project deadlines
