Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of electrical systems and projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attending various sites to:
* Electrical installation to include single/three phase supplies, installing tray work and conduit.
* Maintain electrical systems and equipment
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently
* Conduct regular inspections, tests, and preventative maintenance of electrical systems
* Collaborate with other engineering teams to support ongoing projects
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Produce detailed reports and documentation for all electrical work completed
* Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment
* Install, service, and maintain electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current edition of IET Wiring Regulations.
* Basic plc fault finding advantageous
* Panel building advantageous
* Assist building and wiring machines in workshop
* Install new machines on site including power supply and control wiring.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
* Proven experience in electrical engineering, ideally within an industrial or commercial setting.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit design
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IET wiring regulations, health and safety)
* Clean driving licence
* Electrical installation experience to include lighting systems.
* Provide own basic tools
* Inspection and testing preferable

* Competitive salary of £45,000 per annum
* A Monday to Friday working schedule (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM), with early finishes on Fridays (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
