Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Planned Maintenance (PPM) | Commercial Properties | £38-42K Base | £48-55K OTE | Weekly Pay | London & Surrounding Areas.

We are actively recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) across commercial properties. As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be working on a mobile basis across Central & Greater London regions, attending 1 to 3 commercial properties per day and completing a range of planned maintenance duties and ensure compliance is up to date.

Summary:

* Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer - PPM's

* Area: London & Surrounding Home Counties - within 10-90 minutes of home address.

* Earnings: £38-42K Base. Estimated Annual Earnings: £48-55K per annum.

* Status: Permanent, PAYE - Weekly Pay.

* Package: Company van, fuel card, uniform, phone, pension, paid overtime, NO call out rota, 29 pays paid annual leave + days off in lieu if you work or on-call on bank holidays.

* Environments: Commercial Properties / Commercial Building Services.

* Duties: Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) - lighting flick tests, emergency light testing, PAT testing, fire alarm tests, fire extinguisher tests etc.

* Overtime Rates: x1.5 rate; Monday to Saturday until Midnight / x2 rate Mon-Sat overnight or all times Sundays & Bank Holidays.

* Call out rota: NO on-call for this role.

Duties:

* Planned preventative maintenance / PPMs

* Electrical: Emergency lighting tests (monthly & annual), PAT testing - kettles, microwaves, coffee machines, blenders, tills, card machines, etc, General lighting maintenance (bulbs, downlights, track lights), Distribution board inspection, RCD testing

* Fire Systems: Fire alarm tests (weekly call point test), Smoke & heat detectors - clean and test, Fire extinguishers - visual check (monthly) and service (annually), Fire blankets - inspection and servicing, Emergency signage - lit and non-lit; test and clean, Fire doors - check closers and seals.

* HVAC: Filter cleaning/replacement, Toilet / Kitchen extract fans - function check and clean

* Water Systems: Temperature checks on taps (sentinel points), Weekly flushing of low-use outlets (e.g., rarely used sinks), Coffee machine/ice machine water supply checks, Water filter changes - in coffee machines, soda dispensers, ice machines

Requirements:

* Must have experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance duties within commercial environments.

* Electrical qualifications are highly essential, minimum of City and Guilds 18th edition. Further City and Guilds / NVQ is preferable.

* PPM related qualifications preferred, ie: PAT Testing certificate.

* Must be comfortable carrying out PPM works independently.

* Must have a full UK driving license with under 9 points.
