My client is an international design and manufacturing organisation, with a fantastic reputation in a multitude of different industries. Their revenue has continued to rise year on year over the last decade.

They are looking to add an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer their R&D team.

Experience & Qualifications:

HND in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years experience in a mechanical engineering and design role
Good understanding of engineering & design governance with the ability to follow and apply governance processes and procedures to a design in accordance with a Design Lifecycle process, under the direction of the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer
Ability to create Product and Technical Specification documents and drawings
CAD / SolidWorks, or similar, design software experience, including Finite Element Analysis is desirable
Experience of product & system testing and evaluation
Experience of systems simulation and modelling is desirable
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to create and implement ideas for continuous improvement within the engineering and design team
