We are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Reception teacher to join us from September 2025.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate EYFS practitioner to lead learning in one of our Reception classes. You will play a vital role in delivering a rich, engaging curriculum that promotes curiosity, confidence, and early independence. You'll work closely with colleagues and families to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive during their first year in school.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality, child-centred learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where all pupils feel valued and supported

*

Use ongoing observations and assessments to track progress and inform next steps

*

Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider school community

*

Collaborate with colleagues to support continuous improvement in EYFS provision

*

Contribute to whole-school events, initiatives, and the wider life of the school

We Are Looking For

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Strong experience working within the EYFS, particularly Reception

*

A secure understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS curriculum

*

A nurturing, creative approach to teaching and learning

*

Excellent communication and teamworking skills

*

A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional growth

*

A passion for giving every child the best possible start to school life
