Field Service Engineer

Location: South England (ideal for candidates based near M3/M4 corridors - Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire)

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per year (DOE) + Bonus + Overtime

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site preventative maintenance and servicing of medical equipment across General Practice Surgeries in the South of England for one of our clients. This is a field-based role that will suit someone technically minded, highly organised, and confident in a customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM testing on a range of medical equipment including:
• ECG machines
• Defibrillators
• Pulse oximeters
• Blood pressure monitors
• Spirometers
• Nebulizers
• Medical scales
• Interact professionally with GP surgery staff and ensure a high standard of customer service
• Manage your own schedule and documentation in a timely and organised manner
• Be flexible with working hours and willing to stay away from home midweek on occasion

What We’re Looking For

• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Comfortable travelling regularly across the South of England
• Willing to adapt to the demands of a busy and varied work environment

Qualifications & Experience

• No prior experience required - full training provided
• Technical knowledge of medical or electrical equipment is an advantage
• Ideally qualified with:
• BTEC Level 3 in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or
• City & Guilds equivalent, or similar
