Please note, this is not working on a production line

This is a varied role that involves a range of tasks, including manufacturing our products, filling trailers, working with customers, and maintaining our internal systems to complete records, etc.

Monday-Friday 10.00 am to 6.00 pm

The Person- Production Operative

This role will appeal to someone who enjoys variety, is computer-literate, has experience in manufacturing/machine operations, plus a basic understanding mechanically

The Opportunity - Production Operative

Operate the pre-expansion machine

* Load material into our Installers and Customers' vehicles

* Load trailers with material ready for distribution

* Fill drums with glue

* Operate the TLA machine as and when required

* Complete delivery dockets using Excel

* Unload raw material deliveries using the forklift (Training refresher given)

* Abide by all legislative health and safety requirements, ensuring effective housekeeping, maintenance of plant and equipment, by regulations and company policy

* Inspect finished goods and work closely with the Site Supervisor to resolve problems

* Follow established procedures for record-keeping, both manual and electronic (e.g. paper-based forms and documents in Word and Excel)

* Organise deliveries to customers, ensuring all interactions are positive and professional

* As a keyholder, you will need to ensure the premises are fully secure and all machinery is turned off when leaving the premises

Key Skills - Production Operative

* Understands the importance of health and safety

* Committed to producing a quality product and delivering positive customer service

* Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook

* Adaptable, team player who can meet deadlines

* Forklift experience is essential, but a current licence is desirable

* Driving Licence desirable
