Working Pattern: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (4:00pm – 6:00pm)

Purpose of the Job

This post is designed to primarily cover after school care within the Prep School. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with staff and children. Our client is looking for an After-School Care Assistant who can bring fun, experience, enthusiasm, professionalism and drive to their setting.

The successful applicant must have the ability to work well within a team and have empathy and understanding with children aged 3 – 11. Further details regarding the required skills and attributes will be available on application.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering the After-School Provision within Prep.
  • To maintain a safe and stimulating play environment and to assist with developing opportunities which encourages children’s social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development.
  • To assist with the planning, preparing and delivery of activities, which meet children’s individual developmental needs.
  • To supervise refreshments for the children.
  • To follow guidelines and procedures for Safeguarding in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • To carry out any other duties, which will be seen to enhance the work of the After-School Club.
