We're representing a leading provider of intelligent Building and Energy Management Systems, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality service and support across commercial and industrial sites. As they continue to expand, they're looking for an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join their team, supporting a variety of key clients across the London area.

The Role

You'll be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and optimising BMS systems across a range of sites. This role is ideal for a technically skilled engineer with a solid understanding of building services and hands-on experience working with major BMS platforms. You'll work both independently and as part of a wider team to ensure systems are running efficiently, reliably, and in line with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine and reactive maintenance on BMS systems across multiple client sites

Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions across control panels, field devices, and integrated plant

Optimise system performance and ensure client sites are operating efficiently

Complete service reports, recommendations, and compliance documentation in a timely and accurate manner

Support small works and minor upgrades where required (e.g. software updates, controller swaps, I/O changes)

Liaise directly with clients, facilities teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective service delivery

Assist with system testing, validation, and any required commissioning support

Identify commercial opportunities such as remedial works or system improvements

What We're Looking For

Strong BMS servicing experience with one or more systems (Trend, Schneider, Tridium, Distech, or Delta)

Good knowledge of HVAC systems and M&E plant

Comfortable working with software and front-end systems, making minor adjustments as needed

Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence

Able to work independently, manage your own workload, and support junior staff where appropriate
