Process Engineer ***

We require Process Engineer to work for our top client in detailed phase of the secured project, the brief responsibilities as follows:

Responsibilities:

* Assess safety and environmental implications of engineering design.

* Process design development.

* Detailed equipment and valve calculations.

* Generation of CED EPCm equipment datasheets.

* Record changes to design documentation.

* Development of P&ID`s and PFD`s in accordance with CED EPCm procedures.

* Function as HAZOP team member or secretary.

* Conducting literature searches.

* Assist in conducting feasibility studies.

* Preparation of operating procedures.

* Preparation of control philosophy.

* Collating of design information.

* Liaison with equipment suppliers.

* Learn new processes and design techniques.

* Learn existing CED EPCm design techniques and procedures.

* Checking of graduate engineer design work.

* Manage small process engineering projects.

* Assisting with internal auditing.

* Fiscal responsibility for managing small process engineering projects (project value £250K, budget £10K).

* Direct decision-making autonomy relating to process design work and day-to-day activities.

Requirements:

* Keep up to date with latest industry standards, technology and norms associated with Project Management within the Oil & Gas, Petrochem, and Energy industrial sectors.

* Be familiar with all engineering software available at CED EPCm including the SmartPlant suite of engineering and design software.

* Be familiar with all relevant systems.

* A good understanding of the availability and use of all relevant electronic tools and software.

* Full awareness and understanding of relevant legislation and standards, and their practical application.

* Awareness and understanding of all relevant Company Policies, processes, and procedures.
