Psychology Graduate

Location - Manchester (M15)

Pay - £480-£550 per week, depending on experience

Start date - 20/04/2026

Hours - 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking recent psychology graduates to join a large SEMH provision in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are looking to pursue a career in education.

The school supports pupils aged between 11-18, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

You will:

• Support pupils 1:1, building strong rapport and relationships
• Collaborate with other staff members and external agencies to monitor progress and development
• Prepare engaging learning resources and activities to encourage engagement

What we are looking for:

• A recent degree in Psychology or Criminology
• A genuine passion for supporting young people
• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
• Team Teach training is highly desired but training can be provided

To Be Eligible You Must:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
• Be able to provide two professional child-related references
