Salary: £40000 - £50000/annum

The Project Manager manages the relocation of the Company logistics hub in Segensworth to the main site in Hamble with associated remedial and preparation works and machinery relocation. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of the project on time within budget and within scope. Management of all internal and external stakeholders, direct and indirect resources and teams. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare and present reports regarding status of project. The project duration is expected to be 18 months.


Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of the project
Ensure that the project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure and track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with all stakeholders
Work with internal teams for identification and disposal of relevant assets / machinery associated with the project
Put in place actions to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors/suppliers
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with management as well as other staff members
Use and continually develop leadership skills


Proven working experience in project management (ideally within an industrial / logistics / manufacturing environment)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Demonstrable influencing skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is desirable
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Experience of managing complex projects to the value of £1M
