Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the electrical installation and fit-out of accommodation units on behalf of a reputable contractor. This role is agency-based and ideal for a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in electrical systems within construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on-site.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current regulations (e.g., BS7671) and health & safety standards.
Liaise with site managers, contractors, and agency representatives to ensure smooth project delivery.
Monitor progress and quality of electrical works, ensuring deadlines are met.
Conduct inspections and testing of installations, ensuring compliance and certification.
Manage and support electricians and subcontractors on-site.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Report daily progress and escalate any concerns to the project manager or agency contact.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred).
ECS/CSCS card.
Proven experience in supervising electrical works on construction or fit-out projects.
Strong understanding of temporary accommodation electrical systems (e.g., modular units, cabins).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
