Art & Design Technology Technician
Location: London Borough of Bromley
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time / Term-time only

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art & Design Technology Technician to join our successful and creative team in the Creative Arts Department. Based in the London Borough of Bromley, this role is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting student learning in a dynamic and hands-on environment.

As a key member of the department, you will provide practical and technical support to both staff and students across Art and Design Technology. You will help ensure lessons are engaging, well-resourced, and run safely and smoothly, contributing to an inspiring learning experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, maintain and organise equipment, tools, and materials for lessons and projects

Provide in-class support during practical sessions

*

Maintain a safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations

*

Assist with the display and presentation of students' work

*

Support the wider department with administrative and creative tasks as needed

The successful candidate will:

Have experience working in a similar technical or educational environment (Art/DT background desirable)

*

Be confident using a range of tools, materials, and equipment relevant to Art and DT

*

Demonstrate strong organisational skills and a flexible, proactive approach to work

*

Be a reliable team player with a genuine interest in education and the creative arts
