What does the role involve?

As an Unqualified Teacher (also known as a Cover Supervisor), you'll:

Lead lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
Deliver pre-prepared work to students
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
Support the school by ensuring smooth handover back to the regular teacherThis is perfect for you if you have experience in:

Sports coaching
Youth work
Drama, art, or music workshops
Teaching or leading children's activities (Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Brownies, etc.)
Summer camps or outdoor education (Duke of Edinburgh, adventure instructors)
Community clubs or after-school programsEven a minimum of 2 months' experience in these areas is enough to get started.
