Live-Out Housekeeper - Central London (Hyde Park)

A confident, capable and highly organised Housekeeper is sought for a substantial private residence in Central London, close to Hyde Park. The property is arranged over six floors with a roof garden and an adjoining mews house currently undergoing refurbishment.

This is a fully staffed household where you will work as part of a small team of housekeepers, House Manager, PA and security. The successful housekeeper will be a strong team player who is equally comfortable working independently, maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout the home.

Duties will include:

• Daily cleaning and upkeep of a large, high level residence
• Deep cleaning on a rotational basis
• Care of fine fabrics, specialist surfaces, antiques and artwork
• Laundry and wardrobe management, including ironing to a high standard
• Bed making and turndown service
• Liaising with tradespeople
• Monitoring household supplies and reporting to the House Manager
• Assisting with occasional entertaining, greeting guests etc
• Pet care support for two Golden Retrievers (feeding, occasional short walk in private gated garden)

The ideal candidate:

• Has prior experience within a UHNW private household
• Is confident working across a large multi level property
• Demonstrates discretion and respect for privacy at all times
• Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work
• Is organised, proactive and able to use initiative
• Works well within a small, close knit team
• Is dog friendly and comfortable around large breeds

This is a full time position, working when the Principal is in residence.
