Area: Northern Territory (North Wales-Stoke-Derbys-Notts-Lincs upwards)
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience + car + pension + healthcare

The Role:
• My client is currently looking for a Speciality Product Manager who will manage the sales of specialty chemicals including resins and additives to manufacturers in the UK: surface coatings, paints, inks, adhesives and construction.
• You will also have the Primary role in managing all aspects of a major global Principal as well as developing market for all of the additional specialities product range.
• Delivery of budgeted targets and KPI's as set
• Increase revenue, gross margin and number of trading customers. Determine with the main Principal a business plan and actions required for growth in gross profit, year on year and in line with budgeted targets
• Representation of the company at relevant trade exhibitions and specific events
• Proactively provide business development proposals, properly qualified and quantified
• Key relationship builder with customers, Principals and colleagues (all stakeholders)
• Work closely with Specialities Team & QMS to ensure they meet customer and Principal requirements and enhance service levels to both
• Travel both within the UK and occasional International (training and trade shows) will be required as part of this role
• Develop and significantly expand their sales.

Requirements:
• Science Degree in Chemistry / Polymer Science / Material Science / Chemical Engineering with a few years in technical sales or purchasing
• Experience within the sectors surface coatings, paints, inks, adhesives and construction would be an advantage
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and relationship building skills
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Self-motivated and capable of managing your time effectively
• The ability to prioritise and multitask efficiently
• A good level of IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, also knowledge of CRM would be a bonus
• Full UK driving licence required
• Awareness of Industry specific legislation such as REACH, UK REACH, etc
