Payroll Administrator

Proactive Personnel are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator on behalf of our client based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

Salary: £26K - £33K DOE

Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:30am - 5pm & Fri 8:30am - 15:00pm | Part time hours also considered.

Duties include but not limited to:

* Assisting with preparation of weekly/fortnightly/4 weekly/monthly/annual payrolls ready for Manager review

* Assisting with uploading Pension Contribution files to Pension Provider

* Knowledge of HMRC Real Time Information reporting deadlines

* Setting up PAYE Schemes with HMRC

* Assisting with year-end processes

* Ensure department control file is updated

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its features

* Ability to work to stringent deadlines with accuracy

* Good communication skills

Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience working in Payroll.

* Experience working in an accountancy practice (preferred)

* Organised.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
