Machine Operator - Day ShiftLocation: WolverhamptonPay Rate: £12.21 per hourContract Type: Temp-to-Perm (12 weeks)

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing and distribution company based in the Wolverhampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in machine operation looking for a stable, long-term role.

Shift Pattern:

• Mon - Thurs 07.30am - 16.30pm / 07.30am - 13.30pm Friday

Flexibility is needed though as the role may potentially change to,

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of machinery including punch press, manual equipment, and bending tools
• Cut materials to specified lengths using saws
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Perform basic machining tasks including measurements and calculations
• Pack and prepare finished products for dispatch
• Assist with general labouring and warehouse duties
• Manual handling and heavy lifting as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating industrial machinery
• Ability to confidently read and follow engineering drawings
• Strong practical skills with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical tasks
• Must be available to work fixed day shifts
