My client are a family owned, specialist interiors sub-contractor providing expertise across all aspects of dry lining, plastering, partitioning, ceilings, steel framing systems, glazing, and rendering. They have worked alongside a number of leading main contractors, gaining an excellent reputation for delivering high quality projects. Sectors they work in include retail, leisure, commercial, education, and healthcare, with projects valued up to £2m.

Due to sustained growth and increased workload, they are seeking an Estimator to join their team and work on projects across the Manchester and surrounding areas. While the role will be predominantly estimating, you'll also undertake some Quantity Surveying duties.

The role:

As an Estimator, your role will involve interpreting tenders for interiors projects, efficiently managing your workload, and communicating effectively with wider teams. You'll also need to extract pertinent information from tender drawings to prepare and submit quotations, while maintaining and nurturing professional relationships with clients.
You'll be reviewing bid documents, drawings, specifications, and other reports. Producing accurate estimations. Identifying financial, design, production, and contractual risks and opportunities, and measuring quantities and generating Bills of Quantities. Additionally, you'll be ensuring subcontractor and supplier quotations are obtained.Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating, ideally within a similar industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Benefits:
