Our public sector client are looking for a Landscape Operative to join them on a temporary basis.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week

Requirements:

* Experience in landscaping, construction sites, or plant operation required

* Full driving licence preferred (not essential)

* Any relevant construction experience considered

Role Purpose:
To carry out landscaping, grounds maintenance, and construction work to a high standard, supporting the development and upkeep of parks, green spaces, and outdoor facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Complete landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks to required standards and timescales

* Undertake hard and soft landscaping projects in line with drawings and specifications

* Construct, develop, and maintain outdoor sports areas (natural and artificial surfaces)

* Assist with planting and maintenance of trees and shrubs across highways and open spaces

* Support the safe application of chemicals in line with regulations

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and relevant legislation

* Deliver good customer service and promote positive use of parks and green spaces

* Work within agreed timeframes and budgets
