Essential Qualifications/skill set required:- Candidates must be degree qualified electrical engineers to be considered for this role.- Previous Transmission experience required.- A minimum of 3+ Years substation project engineer experience up to 400kV- Proven experience in high-voltage substation design, operation, and maintenance.- Proficiency in project management- Strong understanding of health and safety regulationsKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Creating outline scope, site location plans, primary plant layout and Single Line Diagrams for newbuild and asset replacement type projects, operating up to 400kV.- Reviewing contractor/consultants detailed designs and witnessing Factory Acceptance Testing.- Implementing safety by design principles to ensure that engineering and safety risks are adequatelycontrolled.- Support site and operational teams to ensure the quality of installations, with minimal risk toNetwork security.- Evaluate tenders and procure and manage specialist services from consultants
