Fire & Security Service Engineer

The Role

As a Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and upgrading a range of fire and security systems across commercial, public sector, and prestigious client sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

Servicing & Maintenance - Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Emergency Lighting and related systems
Fault Finding & Repairs - delivering first-time fixes wherever possible
System Upgrades - supporting compliance and improvements across client systems
Technical Support - advising colleagues and clients on industry standards and compliance
Paperwork & Reporting - ensuring detailed and accurate service/maintenance records are kept
Compliance - ensuring all work meets NSI and British StandardsThis is a field-based role with variety, responsibility, and plenty of opportunity to grow.

About You

Proven background in servicing and maintaining Fire & Security systems
Competent in fault finding and repairs across a range of systems (Fire, Intruder, CCTV, Access Control, Emergency Lighting)
Strong electrical and technical aptitude
Knowledge of relevant British Standards and NSI requirements
IP networking experience (desirable)
Team player with strong communication skills
