Interim Finance Opportunity – Bournemouth (Hybrid)
6-month contract | Immediate start | £60,000–£80,000
Talent Finance are delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation in the Bournemouth area looking for experienced interim finance support during a busy and pivotal time.
This is a broad, hands-on role ideal for a qualified accountant who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being embedded in the day-to-day workings of a finance team. You’ll work closely with both the Group Financial Controller and Finance Director, helping take pressure off the team while contributing to key deliverables and improvements.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you’ll be involved in:
- Month-end close, management accounts, budgeting & forecasting
- Year-end preparation and audit support
- Balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
- Supporting the strategic planning process
- Identifying opportunities to streamline or improve finance processes
What we’re looking for:
- Experience gained in a range of roles would be ideal: for e.g. Financial Controller / Finance Director / FP&A Manager or Senior Finance Manager
- A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience gained in the not-for-profit sector, ideally within education or local government
- Strong technical background with a commercial mindset
- Solid experience across management reporting, audit, and planning
- Someone confident, adaptable, and ready to hit the ground running
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
On offer to you:
- £60,000–£80,000 pro rata, depending on experience
- 6-month contract (with the potential to extend)
- Flexible hybrid working (3 days onsite, 2 from home)
