The role will involve overseeing multiple residential infrastructure and groundworks packages across Essex, Suffolk and surrounding areas.The company has experienced significant growth in recent years, increasing turnover from approximately £62m to £100m while expanding its workforce by over 65%. Senior Contracts Manager Job Overview

• Oversee multiple residential groundworks and infrastructure projects across Essex and East Anglia
• Provide leadership and support to Site Managers, Engineers and site teams
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
• Monitor programme performance and resource allocation across multiple sites
• Chair and attend client, commercial and project review meetings
• Work closely with Commercial teams to manage project performance and cost control
• Support pre-construction planning for upcoming developments
• Maintain strong relationships with housebuilders, consultants and project stakeholders
• Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental performance

Senior Contracts Manager Job Requirements

• Proven experience in a Contracts Manager / Senior Contracts Manager role within groundworks or civil engineering
• Strong background delivering residential infrastructure and groundworks packages
• Experience managing multiple sites simultaneously
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness and programme management ability
• SMSTS qualification

• CSCS Black Card (or equivalent)
• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or equivalent (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
