Year 4 Teacher - Bishop Auckland

We're looking for a Year 4 teacher to join our friendly primary school in Bishop Auckland.

Our current class are curious, chatty, and at that brilliant stage where confidence is growing and independence is really starting to develop. They love topic work, class discussions, and being given responsibility, and we're looking for a teacher who enjoys teaching Lower KS2 and understands what Year 4 pupils need to thrive.

We'd love someone who:

Holds QTS

Is organised, calm, and positive

Enjoys the pace and personality of Year 4

Can build strong relationships with pupils and families

You'll be joining a supportive staff team, a welcoming school community, and a class ready for a teacher who genuinely enjoys this year group.

Based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
