We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Attendance Manager to join our team in a dynamic Blackpool secondary school. This is a key role starting September 2025, where you will be responsible for leading our attendance strategy and ensuring all pupils have consistent access to their education.

Key Responsibilities & Focus �? -
Attendance Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of the school's attendance policies and procedures.

Data Management: Monitor and analyse attendance data, identifying patterns, and implementing targeted interventions to address persistent absence.

Liaison & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for parents, students, and external agencies regarding attendance issues. This includes making home visits and holding meetings to support families.

Safeguarding: Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to identify and address any safeguarding concerns related to attendance, ensuring all child protection policies are followed.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on attendance and punctuality to the senior leadership team and governors.

Proven experience in a similar attendance management or pastoral role within a school setting.

Excellent data analysis and IT skills, with the ability to use attendance management software effectively.
