At Invision Recruitment we are currently working alongside a leading family-run facilities management company, they are seeking a dedicated and skilled Van Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The role will primarily focus on performing preventive maintenance and repairs in large commercial social housing buildings in East London and Essex. You will be working on plant rooms and will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing various mechanical components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) on plant rooms, including pressurisation units, pumps, vents, and co-ort boosters.

* Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with plant room equipment.

* Ensure the cleanliness and safety of work sites, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

* Engage in client-facing interactions, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour.

* Use provided company van to travel to various job sites across East London and Essex.

* Complete and maintain accurate job documentation, including service reports and maintenance logs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

* City and Guilds Level 3 certification in a mechanical or plumbing discipline is required.

* Prior experience working with commercial plant rooms, pressurisation units, pumps, vents, and related systems.

* Desirable: Electrical knowledge and commercial gas qualifications.

* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* A valid UK driving license.

* Competitive salary ranging from £42,000 to £46,000 dependant on experience.
