Transfer Station Operative

Salary: £28,600 per annum, plus Veolia benefits and pension

Hours:Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Location: Brent , HA0 1ES

What you'll be doing;

• Ensure all Paperwork is Compliant for Card Bales
  
• Ensure drivers have correct PPE
  
• Report contamination of loads
  
• Assist in loading bulkers and pushing waste piles up (when yellow plant trained)
  
• Assist in general housekeeping of the site, cardboard baling and loading bales onto vehicles, contamination reporting
  
• Dealing with customers, and helping other staff members around the transfer station as required.
  
• Weighbridge training to book vehicles in and out when required
  

What we're looking for;

• Able to use Forklift/ Shovel / CAT 360 & Scarab (but not essential Training will be provided)
  
• Good organisational skills
  
• Good communication skills as you will be dealing with drivers & 3rd party customers
  
• Ability to work in a team
  
• Work well under pressure
