Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum

We are a Recruitment Agency based in Horsforth, on the search for a Compliance and Payroll Administrator to join our growing team!

Offering innovative resourcing models and project delivery solutions that support the public and private sectors, our highly successful teams provide interim managers, project solutions and subject matter experts throughout the public sector. We work with Local Authorities, Police Forces and Multi Academy Trusts across the UK.

As a small to medium-sized business of around 60 people, we offer a fun but professional working atmosphere and regularly hold social events to bring all staff together and to reward hard work!

Your day-to-day role will include:

  • Contractors - Onboarding candidates and ensuring all their documents/checks remain valid for their working time with the company. This would include, Right to work checks, DBS checks, References, and Limited Company documents (if working via a Limited Company).
  • Contractors Pay- Ensuring everything possible is done to ensure payments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Timesheet System- Processing payments for Contractors as well as generating client and supplier invoices ready for the Finance team to import into the finance system.
  • Clients - Liaising with clients to ascertain the exact details and requirements of their safeguarding packs and regulations.
  • Umbrella Companies - Assisting the contractors in setting up with the umbrella companies and maintaining regular contact with both parties.
  • Consultants - Creating and maintaining a strong working relationship with all Consultants.
  • Working on various client online portals to onboard a Contractor and download timesheets to import into the company timesheet system.
  • Carrying out audits on Contractors at the request of Clients/Internal management.
  • Other important general administrative duties such as sending out the contracts via email to the Contractors and Clients.

  • Able to provide excellent customer service to Contractors/Clients/Internal Stakeholders.
  • Worked with multiple systems across the business.
  • Have a positive 'can-do’ attitude.
  • Enjoys technology and using new systems.
  • 2 years experience in working within Compliance/Contractor Payroll within the recruitment Industry (not essential).
