I'm looking for x2 traffic office operators, based in Thurrock. Operating on a 4 on 4 off (12 hour) night shift, working in a team of 3.

These positions could potentially become perm positions.

The pay rate is £15.75 per hour for a 42-hour week (breaks not included).

The role involves -

* Prepare work for our customer and pre-brief drivers at the Start of shift

* Co-ordinate the transport operations on site to meet both customer and company expectations

* Liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of Customer vehicles / subcontractors minimising the cost impact to the business

* Daily Report of customer KPIs and volume calculations

* Execute customers plan and make changes where necessary to limit stock outs

* Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are logged and communicated to management and customer in a timely manner

* First line of communication for the driver workforce.

They will need

* A good understating of fast-paced transport teams

* Excellent communication skills - you'll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders

* Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
