Accounts Assistant

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum + benefits

Are you a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with a flair for numbers and a passion for process improvement? Our client, a growing leader in their sector, is seeking a dedicated and proactive candidate to join their dynamic finance team in Rochdale.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare financial statements

Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger activity

Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Provide variance analysis and support budgeting/forecasting cycles

*

Assist with cash flow monitoring and cost control initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)

*

Minimum 2-4 years' experience in a similar accounting role

Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar)

*

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

*

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a busy environment
