🔧 The Role

As Transport Shift Manager, you'll take ownership of the daily transport operation, ensuring deliveries run smoothly, efficiently, and safely across your shift.

You'll be right at the heart of the action leading drivers, coordinating routes, and solving challenges in real-time.

👀 What You'll Be Doing

Managing the day-to-day transport operation on shift 🚛

*

Leading, motivating, and developing a team of drivers and planners 👥

*

Ensuring OTIF delivery performance and service levels are met

*

Overseeing compliance, driver hours, and transport legislation ✅

*

Reacting quickly to operational challenges and finding solutions 💡

*

Working closely with warehouse and wider operations teams

💼 What We're Looking For

*

Proven experience in a transport or logistics leadership role

*

Strong knowledge of multi-drop distribution

*

CPC qualification (desirable but not essential)

*

Confident decision-maker with a hands-on approach

*

Excellent communication and team leadership skills

*

Comfortable working rotating days & nights (4 on / 4 off) 🌗
